Saturday, August 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., provides a unique opportunity to discover so much of what our local agriculture has to offer. Thirty-five farms across two counties invite you to discover their brand of farming.
The Farm Guide is your resource to the participating farms. Feel free to visit as many as your schedule permits. Explore fish farming, beekeeping, maple syrup making, cheese making, milk bottling, sheep’s wool processing, cashmere goats, orchards, or cider making, maybe even a “Tiny House.”
The maps (pages 8,9 and 18,19) will help guide you to the farm locations and to plan your day. Each county is shown in its entirety with numbered farms clearly indicating their locations. For access online, visit www.familyfarmday.org, and be sure to download while in regions with stronger signals. Road signs will be posted to assist your tour.
