DUE TO CONCERNS REGARDING THE CORONAVIRUS, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
Public Presentations is often cited by 4-H alumni as the most significant and valuable 4-H learning experience, more so than any other 4-H program. Youth, with the support of their families, clubs, and 4-H staff learn to develop presentations on topics that are most relevant and exciting to them. With lots of practice and a little experience, youth develop confidence in presenting their topics in front of the judges at the County, State, and even National level. The greatest learning begins when youth are able to use the positive, constructive feedback from our judges to further develop their skills in planning, preparing, and presenting their next presentation. Youth who are 13 & up who complete a presentation during the year and submit a Member Report Form at the end of year will be eligible to interview for Awarded Trips.
What are the types of presentations?
There are presentations for all levels and interests. We provide the framework, you provide the topic and enthusiasm! Demonstrations such as "How to Groom a Horse" or sharing your favorite science experiment through an Illustrated Talk are the most common types but that's not all! Review all the types below and discover the best fit for your topic.
