Ticks

Ticks have eight legs! There are all kinds of ticks: American dog ticks, brown dog ticks, Lone Star ticks, deer ticks and this list goes on! They live in moist areas with long grass and in the shrubbery boarder between a lawn and the woods and are often found in meadows. They carry well-known diseases such as Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever.
