Saturday, August 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., provides a unique opportunity to discover so much of what our local agriculture has to offer. Fifty-five farms across Schoharie, Otsego, and Delaware Counties invite you to discover their brand of farming.
The Farm Guide is your resource to the participating farms. Feel free to visit as many as your schedule permits. Explore fish farming, beekeeping, maple syrup making, cheese making, milk bottling, sheep’s wool processing, cashmere goats, orchards, cider making, and much more.
Our maps (pages 8, 16, and 24) will help plan your day and guide you to the farm locations. Each county is shown in its entirety with numbered farms clearly indicating their locations. Be sure to download while in regions with stronger signals. GPS coordinates are listed for participating farms; road signs will be posted to assist your tour.
For everyone’s health and safety, please adhere to Family Farm Day etiquette
Be sure to bring a cooler or insulated grocery bag to take home delicious, local, farm-fresh products purchased throughout the day.
