Welcome to 4-H in Schoharie and Otsego Counties!
4-H Youth Development creates supportive learning environments in which diverse youth and adults reach their fullest potential as capable, caring, and competent individuals. 4-H offers many opportunities for youth between the ages of 5 and 19, including membership in a community 4-H Club, Special Interest Group, School Enrichment, Summer Camp, and much more.
4-H programs are offered in a wide variety of formats and places because they're designed to fit the interests and needs of the diverse young people who live in our communities. Over 500 young people aged 5 to 19 take part in 4-H activities in Schoharie and Otsego Counties each year.
You can read more about 4-H, its history and philosophy on this site, and you can find ways that you and your family can become involved. Once you see what 4-H has to offer, please call us with any questions you may have! We look forward to speaking with you, and we hope to welcome you soon to a 4-H program in your community.
