Owl Pellet Dissection Workshop

BirdSleuth is hosting an Owl Pellet Dissection Workshop for kids ages 8-12 on February 21 from 9 a.m. - noon at the Lab of Ornithology. 

Bring 4-H youth to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology during winter break to dissect Barn Owl pellets; learn about ecology, food webs, and trophic levels, plus identify bones and reconstruct skeletons. This hands on workshop is for home schoolers and local school kids on vacation and will engage participants in the mystery and wonder of exploring owl pellets.
