Earn an Animal Information Night

The 4-H Earn-an-Animal Program, gives youth the opportunity to purchase, raise and show an animal. Animal species in the 4-H Earn-an-Animal Program include: beef and dairy calves, dairy and meat goats poultry, swine, sheep and rabbits.

All Schoharie County youth ages 8-19 are encouraged to apply for a 4-H Earn-an-Animal. Youth must complete an application, be interviewed, and formally agree to the project requirements. The grant funds are awarded after the projects successfully completed.

Applications are due January 1.On December 1 applications can be obtained from the 4-H office. For more information contact the 4-H office at 518-234-4303, 296-8310.

On December 20, 2017 we will hold and information night on the 4-H earn an Animal Program. 

Preregistration is required by December 15, 2017.
