4-H Public Presentation Training - Otsego County

  • Saturday, January 19, 2019, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

A key for succeeding in this world is being able to have your voice heard.

4-H provides an opportunity for youth to learn this valuable skill through public presentations. A 4-H public presentation is showing and telling somebody else how to do something that you ALREADY KNOW HOW TO DO! This can be from a 4-H project or activity that you have taken or are taking this 4-H year, or it can be a special interest that you have. Giving a public presentation can help you to grow as an individual, think and talk before a group of people, and gain poise and self-confidence.

Public Presentation Training for leaders and members is scheduled for Saturday, January 19, from 9 a.m. - Noon at the Cooperstown Education Center. Registration deadline is January 11.  Snow date: January 21.

Public Presentations will be held

February 23, from 9 a.m. - Noon at Milford

March 2, from 9 a.m. - Noon at Morris
