The Dairy Contest Challenge at the State Fair was cancelled, but Herkimer County CCE is challenging you to learn something new this summer! This series of four virtual workshops is open to 4-H youth of all ages who are involved in or have an interest in dairy as a project area. Join our knowledgeable instructors and many dairy-interested youth statewide from the comfort of your home during this Zoom-based series.

Workshop Schedule (Tuesdays 7-8 p.m.):

  • August 11: Nutrition and Rumen Function
  • August 18: Herd Health, Diseases, Vaccinations, and Biosecurity
  • August 25: Reproduction
  • September 1: Dairy Records
