Do you want to live the Wildlife? Then let us WHEP you into shape!
MUST BE 10 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND MUST BE A REGISTERED 4-H MEMBER
WHEP is a knowledge competition where youth learn about different species of birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and where they live. This year we will focus on what habitats animals live in. We will have a more national perspective.
The program is based on the National 4-H Wildlife Habitat Education Program which offers an annual competition. Currently, NYS does not send 4-H youth to the National 4-H Wildlife Habitat Education Program competition. However, should enough interest arise, facilitators will explore the opportunity for 2021.
