Welcome to 4-H in Otsego County!
Youth and their families in Otsego County can take advantage of various 4-H opportunities at the county and state level. Whether theyare offered after school, in the summer, or as a workshop, club, camp, or special event, 4-H programs are designed to fit the interests and needs of the diverse young people who live in our rural and urban communities. There are 26 active 4-H clubs in Otsego County and approximately 240 young people aged 5 to 19 take part in 4-H activities in Otsego County. We'd like to welcome you to that number!

New York Farm Bureau Agricultural Youth Scholarship 2019 - Deadline March 1, 2019
Youth who are interested in participating in the Sheep Youth Conservationist Program must be between the ages of 9-18 and submit an application before April, 1 2019.
The 2019 Capital Days event will take place in May.
A program in Otsego County which youth learn to create a presentation and develop the skills needed to present it before an audience.
February 22 - 24, 2019 for 4-H Volunteers and 4-H Camp Staff at Saratoga County Cooperative Extension in Ballston Spa.
The primary objective of animal bowl contests is to provide an opportunity for youth enrolled in 4-H animal projects to demonstrate their knowledge of animal related subjects.
