CNY Dairy, Livestock & Field Crops Team

The Central NY Dairy, Livestock & Field Crops Program serves Chenango, Madison, Fulton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Otsego, Saratoga and Schoharie Counties to help producers meet their goals and enhance dairy farm profitability to maintain a strong dairy industry in the region.

The Central NY Dairy, Livestock & Field Crops Program works with farmers on:

Dairy farms dominate the farm landscape, and they account for 2/3 to 3/4 of the farm sales in the region. Abundant natural rainfall and a great tradition of dairy farming makes the Northeast an important dairy-producing area of the country.


This program is supported by Cornell University and the Cornell Cooperative Extension Associations of 
Chenango, Madison, Fulton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Saratoga, Schoharie and Otsego Counties.
