On Saturday, August 26, 2023, 10 AM to 5 PM, we celebrate our 11 th Annual Family Farm Day (FFD) that will include on farm, open house events at farms from Schoharie, Otsego, and Delaware Counties.
We welcome your participation as a sponsor. Details follow below. Being one of the most important agritourism events in our region, communities near and far come to support our local farms and other area businesses. Our new advertising plan targets visitors from Albany to Newburgh, west to Binghamton, and north to Utica in both print and social media formats.
Sponsorship brings you visibility among participating farms from all three counties, as well as the hundreds of local families and tourists who visit on Family Farm Day. Our county tourism partners strongly support our promotional efforts, helping to maximize your business' visibility.
Sponsor registration is open through Friday, May 19, with display ad submission and payment due by May 31, 2023. Feel free to contact me with questions at 518-234-4303 (x119); email firstname.lastname@example.org, or Nicole Thompson, CCE Administrative Assistant, at 518.234.4303 (x111); email email@example.com
After many successful years of FFD, we return for our eleventh year on August 26. At the peak of summer, local farms and businesses will welcome visitors, showcase and sell products, provide tastings, tours, and a host of activities and demonstrations—all great reasons for visitors to come for the day, if not for the weekend.
The Farm Guide again will be to a two-sided, full color map that folds to a 4”x 9” rack-card size for display racks * that are professionally serviced weekly. This visibility keeps FFD in full view for two months during July and August and serves also (w/shelf life) as a reference for the farmers’ markets for the season. The Farm Guide unfolds to a manageable 18”W x 23.5”H, and can be easily downloaded online. Farm listings will focus on primary farm contact and product information, driving readers to their websites for complete farm and event details. Display ad space is limited and will be placed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Overall, our program brings a balanced hybrid of print and expanded social media well-suited to serve our publicity needs. Your support for a well-known local event like Family Farm Day will help farms and local businesses move forward.
Thank You for Participating in FFD 2023!
