Cornell Cooperative Extension Schoharie and Otsego Counties (CCESO) is gathering information about Schoharie and Otsego County organizations’ efforts to maintain and grow food gardens for their constituents. Organizations interested in expanding their capacity to address food insecurity through gardening and garden-based education are encouraged to connect with CCESO and complete they survey. The goal is to gather information about which organizations are currently managing food gardens, where they are located, what are the challenges of maintaining the garden, and who they serve. This network is also open to organizations that are interested in starting a food garden.
